Quick & Easy Make-up
Q: I need make-up for my job but I have little time. Any tips?
A: Actually many women make the mistake of assuming that wearing makeup is a “full scale” production and that unless you’re going to go “all out” there’s no point in doing anything.
You don’t need heavy foundation, concealer and powder if you have an even skin tone. And in fact if you only need a little evening of the skin tone in certain areas, you might want to go with a tinted moisturizer or a little pressed powder as a base color. If your skin is clear and even don’t apply a base color at all. Just use a little moisturizer to keep your skin looking dewy.
If you want to add a little color to accentuate your features, but need to keep it quick and easy, try using a neutral tone bronzer (powder) to put a little contour under your cheekbones and over the eyes. You can even use the same brush if you wish. Many women use this as a “daytime” look, because it’s really easy and looks natural in most cases. Combine this with a little mascara (for ease and error proof results, use a clear gel mascara) and some lip gloss in your preferred shade and you’re good to go.
Just use a little ingenuity and try out a few simple things. The easier you keep your routine, the more likely you’ll be able to fit it into your schedule effortlessly.
